Event Calendar April 24, 2010 Carlos Barbosa-Lima Internationally acclaimed guitarist Carlos Barbosa-Lima will perform at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in celebration of his historic 50th recording, Merengue, on Saturday, April 24, at 8:30 PM. The evening’s program features a wide palette of works by Gnattali, Riera, Villa-Lobos, Jobim, Almeida, Lauro, Cordero, Brouwer, Savio, Gershwin and more. The Maestro will be joined by his duet partner, guitarist Lawrence Del Casale as they perform Barbosa-Lima’s masterful arrangements of works by Jobim, Gershwin and more.
