In June, we will be joined by a former NYCCGS President, the multi-faceted J. Andrew Dickenson - guitarist, composer, teacher and writer. He holds degrees from Peabody and the Mannes School of Music. He edits the NYCCGS online newsletter NYlon Review, runs the Urban Guitar web site, and is a regular contributer to guitar publications such as Classical Guitar magazine. At the June meeting, he will give an original multi-media presentation on the history of guitar, incorporating live performance, art, video and narration.
