The New York City Classical Guitar Society ("NYCCGS") is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the classical guitar. We provide a forum for the listening and performing of classical guitar music through each member's right and responsibility to both teach and learn.

NYCCGS was started to fill a gap between the abundance of quality classical guitar resources on the Internet and the conspicuous lack of a social forum for classical guitar in New York City and its surrounding area. We want to complete the social interaction of classical guitar enthusiasts by providing an "in-person" group learning experience.
